A meeting will be held for parents who would like information regarding our school’s “Gifted and Talented Education” program on Thursday, April 14th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM in the Multi-Purpose Room. During this time, an overview of Woodbury’s GATE program and IUSD’s APAAS program will be provided by our GATE teachers and the principal. Although anyone is welcome to attend, this meeting is specifically designed for parents of third, fourth, and fifth grade students whose child recently earned a GATE qualifying score of 95% or better on the OLSAT test or those who have applied for the district’s APAAS program. The presentation is not designed for parents of a student currently participating in Woodbury’s GATE program. Those parents with children not eligible for the GATE program who have questions regarding Woodbury’s GATE program or the school district’s APAAS program should contact their child’s teacher, Mr. Battenfield, or Mrs. Lambert.
