Program Structure

Students in grades 2-6 have four 9-week sessions in each innovation lab for 50 minutes a week (total of 36 weeks). In order to reduce class size, classes are divided into two groups. While one group participates in the assigned innovation lab, the other remains with the teacher for instruction in a smaller class size. Each student participates in a STEAM Innovation Lab once a week. All lessons in every innovation lab follows the Innovation Design Process. Lessons are aligned with grade level standards and topics of study. Please click here for the 2nd-6th grade curriculum. Students in TK, Kindergarten and 1st grade have a STEAM lab experience once a trimester.
