School Nurse: Kristie Ramirez
My name is Kristie Ramirez, I am a school nurse. I have been a school nurse for 2 1/2 years through IUSD. Before I became a school nurse I worked in pediatrics at various hospitals for 8 years. Then I worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit ( NICU) for 5 years. I have a Master's Degree of Science in Nursing Education and am a Registered Nurse. Nursing has always been my passion and was what I wanted to be when I grew up as a kid. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and my two kids. We have Disneyland passes and go quite often. We also love to camp and travel both domestically and internationally. When my husband and I aren't spending time with kids, we go to concerts together. I look forward to having more years as a school nurse.
