Seeing your own culture and language represented in school and in older role models is essential to creating an inclusive and compassionate learning environment. With that in mind, Woodbury and the University of California Irvine have developed an outstanding partnership where college students from UCI’s international program come to our campus and teach Woodbury students about their different culture’s written and spoken languages, games, attire, dances, economies, art, traditions, and the list goes on and on. On November 27th and December 6th, Woodbury continued to be a place where our precious students learned about the world as well as see themselves represented and included.
