Parenting Classes

IUSD parenting classes are starting soon that are designed to help you enjoy your kids and family more! This is a great opportunity for Woodbury parents to learn additional skills to raise capable, competent, resilient kids who succeed in school and in life.
 
 
  • Positive Discipline For Building Capable Kids is for parents of children in grades kindergarten through 12th. This class meets on Mondays for six weeks beginning January 25, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
  • Active Parenting Now for parents of children in grades kindergarten through 6th. This class meets on Wednesdays for six weeks beginning January 27, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
  • Active Parenting Of Teens is for parents of children in 7th through 12th grade. This class meets on Thursdays for six weeks beginning January 28, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
  • Why School Is So Hard? Help for Executive Function Skills is for parents of children in grades kindergarten through 12th. This class meets on Tuesdays for four weeks beginning February 4, from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM.
  • Helping Your Child Succeed In School is for parents of children in grades kindergarten through 6th. This class meets on Mondays for six weeks beginning January 25, from 9:30 AM -11:30 AM.
All classes meet at CREEKSIDE EDUCATION CENTER located on the corner of Harvard and Barranca. The cost is $60 for individuals and $75 per couples. Some scholarships are available.
